2006

Australian Sheep & Wool Show:

At the Australian sheep and wool show held in Bendigo this year we entered 5 White Suffolk Rams, 5 SAMM Rams and 3 SAMM Ewes.

Our White Suffolks did well achieving the following results:

• 1st - Ram under 1 1/2 years in wool
• 3rd - Ram under 1 1/2 years in wool
• 1st - Ram under 1 1/2 years shorn

The Prime SAMM's also did exceptionally well receiving:

• 1st - Ram with 2 tooth open
• 2nd - In pair of Rams
• 3rd - Ram with 2 tooth
• 2nd - Group; 1 Ram & 2 Ewes
• Reserve Champion Ewe
• 1st - Ewe with 4 tooth & over
• 2nd - Ewe showing lambs teeth
• 3rd - Ewe with 2 tooth open

Dubbo Show 2006:

This year we entered 4 Prime SAMM rams and 4 Prime SAMM ewes in the Dubbo show achieving the following:

• Reserve Champion Ram
• 1st - Ram with 2 tooth
• 1st - Pair of Rams
• 2nd - Ram lamb teeth open
• 3rd - Ram lamb teeth open
• 3rd - bare shorn ram
• Reserve junior champion ewe
• 2nd - Ewe lamb teeth open
• 2nd - Pair of Ewes
• 3rd - Ewe with 4 teeth & over open

2005

In 2005 Warburn Stud entered three Prime SAMM rams and three Prime SAMM Ewes in the Dubbo show achieving the following results:

•     1st - Ram showing lambs teeth
•     3rd - Ram showing lambs teeth
•     2nd - Ram under 12 months
•     2nd   Ewe with two teeth
•     2nd - Ewe showing lambs teeth
•     3rd - Ewe under 12 months

2004

In 2004 Warburn Stud exhibited for the first time at major shows. In May we entered three White Suffolk sheep at the Dubbo Show and achieved one 2nd and a 3rd placing. Success was also achieved with the SAMM's with three sheep being entered and all winning ribbons, two 2nd and one 3rd. 

In July at the Australian sheep and wool show our SAMM's did extremely well, with four sheep entered and all winning a 1st place, plus Reserve champion. We also had two entries in the White Suffolk with both winning ribbons, one 3rd and one 4th.
